Re: LGC AR15 Lowers III: The Post Sequel/Filling

So i think the LGS was jerking me around with my 4473 form by telling me i got delayed but happens to me like every other time.
The owner of the small mom n pop store has been known to spout off right wing conspiracy shit.
But they never called me back after 3 days so i went in and asked for my lower.
They kind of acted not as friendly as they typically do
I'm certain they saw the LGC LOGO on it.

Anyways i started to fill them with these lacquer paint crayons.
Gotta let it dry overnight after scraping the extra off. Then clean it with brake cleaner or paint thinner.
Cant clean then right away or you'll just pull out the paint. This is my second try on the white.
Still needs a tiny more touch up.
I think fingernail polish may be easier and sets harden than these sticks.

Well I think this is good for now. I like that red color. The white really pops. Still a little hazy but that should wear off.
Mineral spirits really activates the paint even after 24 hours. But the Brake cleaner does not and you can kinda scrub it more without pulling paint.
The logo looks like the person has a ponytail. Might need to refill the white.

Looks good.

I have a new FFL since I moved, the guy has a tiny gun store front inside his main auto repair business. You could tell he was more of fudd/hunter than a RWNJ.

I don’t even think he looked at my lower more than a second to enter the serials. Super friendly guy, a mile away & only a $20 fee … so I’ll be sending my transfer there from now on.

It’s nice to have options as far as shipping to FFLs and LGS. When I first moved to ohio there were way fewer options, and options were full of the nut job proprietors. Those guys have all been weeded out for the most part (some exceptions) due to the heavy competition here.
