Video Reveals Man in GOP Congressman’s Capitol Tour (on Jan 5th) Threatened to “Take Out” AOC
The House select committee investigating the breach of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, released evidence Wednesday showcasing how at least one individual who took part in a Republican congressman’s tour of the building on the day prior to the attack was also part of the violent mob of Trump loyalists who marched to the Capitol.

The evidence appears to directly contradict claims by Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Georgia), who said last month that his tour group did not include any violent members of the January 6 mob.

It also lends credence to notions put forth by the committee that some members of the groups taken on tours of the Capitol by Republicans on January 5 could have used the tours to surveil the building. The committee noted that the Capitol complex was closed to the public that day, and the tour included “areas of the complex not typically of interest to tourists.”
...
The pictures that the man and others on the tour had taken, Thompson noted in his letter to the Georgia Republican, included areas of the building “not typically of interest to tourists, including hallways, staircases, and security checkpoints.”

Thursday's hearing from the House select committee investigating the Capitol insurrection will be all about former Vice President Mike Pence, who was at the center of former President Donald Trump's last-ditch effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election on January 6, 2021. Committee aides said the hearing would make the case that Trump's pressure campaign against Pence had "directly contributed" to the violence on January 6, which placed Pence's life in danger as rioters chanted, "Hang Mike Pence."

Aides said the hearing would include new materials and documents about Pence's movements on January 6 and what he was doing when the Senate chamber was forced to evacuate after rioters breached the US Capitol.

The hearing will focus on Trump attorney John Eastman's theory that Pence had the authority to overturn the election results when Congress certified Joe Biden's victory on January 6, 2021. It was a theory that was rejected by Trump's own White House attorneys, but Trump and his allies embraced it, pressuring Pence to help him subvert the election in the weeks leading up to January 6.

I think the point was did loudermilk KNOW there was going to be an assault on the capital the next day. The asshole who was in the video on Jan 6th sure knew it was going to be an assault on the capital. Of course loudermilk is taking the coward's path by refusing to clear his name...probably because he can't when under oath.

It keeps getting crazier and scarier. I believe Lauren Boebert also guided insurrectionists. Now a story has come out that Boebert joined a site offering to be a sugar baby and hooked up with a member of the Koch family, who introduced her to....Ted Cruz! Additionally, it's turned out that this virulent anti-abortionist has had not one but TWO abortions herself. "Good for me but not for thee!". The source is the same group that "outed" Madison Cawthorn resulting in him losing his primary and therefore will be GONE in January.

Crazy he was one fateful decision from being disappeared and maybe murdered.

Barry Loudermilk is a huge liar as he first said there was no tour. F'ing traitor needs a proper sentence. Wouldn't it be fun to see him hang? Which states allow hanging?

Interesting quote by Pence. Never considered the possibility that Pence (on Jan 6) was actually scared for his life/safety in refusing to get into a car to spirit him away from the Capitol. That the VP was at that point afraid of what the President would be capable of in grasping onto power!
The coward of my enemy is my friend?

Edit: Holy Shit!
Right before the recess we learn that Pence’s chief of staff, Marc Short, expressed concern to the VP’s Secret Service that the President may “lash out” at the VP on Jan 6 and to make sure the VP had “adequate protection”!!! Pence was in fact fearful for his life not because of the rioters but because of the President may order a hit on him! THAT is why Pence refused to get into that car!

We need to remember that TOT's Daddy's and his lawyer for much of his life was Ray Cohn, known as the lawyer for the mob in New York. Slow TOT dealt with the mob in his building of Trump Tower and the workings of his casinos in New Jersey. It would not be a surprise that he or one of his followers would arrange a hit on Pence. If Pence didn't help TOT as a part of the plan to stay in power.

Here, for your consideration, is an extended interview of Judge Michael Luttig on his opinions on the current and ongoing dangers to American Democracy which he says started coalescing in his mind while watching the Republican Primaries in 2016.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9YrPe2Vr84&t=1542s

In describing when President Trump announced on election night that he had won the election before the votes were counted, Judge Luttig said:
...(That was) the moment that would bring us into a Constitutional Crisis for what I believed then would have been the first Constitutional Crisis in American history. So a word of explanation, I don't believe that the country is ever in a Constitutional Crisis unless and until we are confronting circumstances that were never contemplated by the Constitution. That view leads me to the conclusion that we are never in a Constitutional Crisis unless or until the attack on America and her democracy is from within, not from without. I believe the Constitution provides the process and mechanisms by which we can withstand any attack or assault on our county or democracy from without. But I believe that the Constitution never contemplated and therefore didn't ever provide for processes and mechanisms to withstand an attack on America and her democratic processes from within. And that is what I believed was happening at that point."
While his infuriatingly slow speaking style during the Jan 6 Hearing may turn off some (including myself) please consider listening to this interview. This is the man that Pence turned to for clarity when he was under pressure by the President to stop the election certification. This is the man who spent a lifetime carefully choosing the words he would utter to protect his credibility. It is because of his reputation that the VP called Judge Luttig and spent several hours talking with him to finally solidify his position that the Vice President does not have the constitutional power to stop or delay certification of an election. There is much here to learn that can help clarify the perspective of what may/could/should happen with our elected leaders and the governmental processes and the dangers we face if they don't.

The judge was writing his talk. He was writing it in the air. Tremendously strong intellect to make those long sentences as an improvisation. Respect.

Lots of crime was made, so I think a dozen or more will end up in jail, including the orange spirochete. May take two years. But it'll happen.
A majority of Americans believe that Donald Trump should face criminal charges in relation to the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to a new poll.

The survey found that 54 percent of respondents backed the idea of the Department of Justice (DOJ) indicting the former president over the Capitol riot, compared to 37 percent who oppose the suggestion.

Yes, Luttig is one of those that Pence consulted along with former VP Dan Quayle. Quayle actually presided over the joint session that confirmed the election of Clinton and Gore. Greg Jacob, Pence's WH counsel thoroughly researched it along with WH lawyers, Eastman was alone in his legal theory.

At least one USA and DOJ are investigating the fake elector ballots. If those ballots forged the signatures of state officials to make them look real that's one thing, if they were just a list of electors nominated by the Rep Party then it lacks the signatures of state officials. The AZ fake was entitled, "The Sovereign Citizens of the State of Arizona", an obvious fake.

One reporter pointed out that at all the J6 televised committee hearings so far, other than the two Capitol cops, all the witnesses have been Republicans. Every Republican isn't a Trumper and WH and campaign aides didn't all support Trump's Big Lie of election fraud. Liked Hershmann, he told Eastman to get a fucking good lawyer because he'd need it.

Free Republic is full of the usual political garbage, both parties have those sites.

I have friends in the Tango community here in Los Angeles that are Ukrainian. And many Russians as well. And both regularly dance with us and each other in close embrace and all that... and then Putin’s war started. And then many naturally voice outrage at Putin’s war of aggression. But there are some Russians dancers who believe Russian propaganda-news that this war was in the best interest of protecting Russian speaking Ukrainians... you get the drift.

Anyway, looking at this war from the lens of America and observing these two groups enjoying an international dance (originally from Argentina), and knowing that if everyone just shut-up and danced, really nobody would be the wiser to how lazy, ignorant, stupid, or fearful a human being could actually be: life would actually be nicer and everyone happier if folks just stopped talking. Or thinking too much. Or otherwise stopped believing that they were somehow superior in their “knowledge” (often of something extreme) but rather accepted that everybody around them are inherently the same as themselves, deserving of the same respect they themselves desire. But of course I’m describing a healthy ego...

Anyway, the irony here for me is that Russians and Ukrainians have had much longer practice at social cohesion and working together to survive mutual challenges. And they also have practice at filtering state propaganda to know BS when they see it. And yet...

My point is that the war in Ukraine mirrors the cultural war we have here in America. The same statement I made about the European war is applicable here, literally word-for-word for Jan 6 Capitol riot, Covid vaccine deniers, electric vs ICE cars... just about anything the human mind can wrap their egos around and consider themselves superior to others based on a simple idea. And this both puzzles and frustrates me to no end.

There will always be groups of lost souls that spin off into delusion which threaten the peace or otherwise challenge the idea of harmony or unity in the face of real challenges. And frankly these people are often the intelligent ones who pride themselves on their intellect so much that an argument filled with unverifiable “information” from secret “sources” and technical arguments that makes the mind do summersaults or otherwise act like mental fidget-widgets for one’s inherent anxieties to latch onto becomes ever more seductive. Recognize first that these folks pride themselves on being the select few who actually know some hidden truth, like club members of a special ring. Then find out how to reach these people to show them their ring originally came in a box of crackerjack. Because if the rational ones cannot reach the divisive ones who express both fear and superiority, I fear eventually the shooting starts.

And lighting the fuse of the powder-keg will always be a power-monger like Putin or Trump.
