It happens. I used to work in hotels and we had some Latin American dictator staying at a property I worked at and besides the dictators entourage about a quarter of our guest rooms were full of US Secret Service agents. The agents were almost all male in dark suits with a USSS lapel pin and an ear plug, very easy to spot. One agent went into one of the lobby mens rooms for a #2 and set his gun on the floor in the stall and forgot it. Thankfully one of the hotel cleaners found it and turned it to one of the agents.

She should have had one of these.

Just checking the news and it doesn't appear to have turned up so far. It's probably history, could have been sold and even traveled out of state. The female OSP detective will never live that one down, she'll always be Potty Fife.

Instead of a nick name that will never get lived down, I think I would rather that the detective, whom ever it is (another news organization references a male detective) just be shown the door.

There are some kinds of mistakes that it is not okay to make, this would be one of them.
