Been watching prices drop and keeping an eye on .556. Still seems high. Lots of green tip showing up.
Not sure green tip is worth it.
What's your low point where you would buy?
I forgot what the price I bought 1K rounds at when TOT got elected. Like it will ever be that cheap again.

I mostly stock 9mm and 5.56, with some .223. Oh, and a bunch of .22LR.

I don't think I really need a lot of green tip--can't shoot it at my local indoor range, and it's super-penetrating for home defense use (although I do have ~1200 rounds of it, just in case). A year or more ago, I bought some Russian .223 that is hollow point, for what that's worth. Since I'm in a suburban area, I don't see myself needing a defensive round that reaches out to two hundred yards...

My threshold for buying is dropping--for a while, I was willing to buy Herter's 5.56 at sixty cents. That price hasn't dropped yet, so I'm not restocking any at the moment.

My threshold for 9mm target stuff was in the high-thirties, but I'm seeing okay-ish target stuff online in the low-thirties, and some third-line stuff in the high twenties.

I have enough .22LR to get me by for a while, and won't pay more than nine cents a round.

I have a can of M2 AP ammo justin case. But the green tip seems to be running around a buck thirty a rnd. Too much not ok.

A little bit of love in a box. Fresh 303 Brit which I have not been able to source in town. Nice seeing it. But loose ammo running around the box no good.
Bought some 9mm and .357 just to soften the pain of freight.
