Greyhound bus hijacked

Not to sound flippant, but isn't the point of hijacking a vehicle usually to, you know, escape? In which case a bus has to be an only slightly less bad decision than, say, hijacking a train. I've ridden those Greyhounds, and I got the distinct feeling that a particularly fit police officer could catch the damn thing on foot. And it certainly isn't going to outrun a Crown Vic interceptor.
