Wood stock oil
1Hey team. Inherited my late grandfather's 1938 mossberg 46b. It's in great shape - stock just needs some love. Any recommendations for stock oil? It's walnut with an oil finish, so I've heard a touch of oil can help restore it.

2Tung oil or Boiled Linseed oil would be my choice; I think Tung oil offers slightly more protection from moisture, and is quicker to dry.

3I'll second Tung oil, it's my favorite for oil finish maintenance.

4I'll second boiled linseed oil cut 50/50 with turpentine. Put it on with a green kitchen scrubby.
