Hi everyone, post #2 from the FNG. I just received the slide I ordered in December (), but I’ve never actually assembled one that’s been cerakoted.

I have a Shadow systems completion kit that I used with my wife’s stock G19 slide, and it worked great.

Do I need to prep anything on the new slide before assembling? Do I just give the spacer sleeve a little elbow grease and motivation? Should I file/sand it down before inserting?
