Chinese fire Truck w/ jet-propelled water cannon

"Just what does $456,000 buy you these days? Well, if you happen to run the fire department of China's Luoyang City, the answer is a jet-propelled water cannon capable of spraying four tons of water per minute. That pretty much qualifies it for a "terminal velocity" badge, as the water is said to move at such speed as to choke fires from the oxygen surrounding them. Maximum range for this blaze blaster is 120 meters (nearly 400 feet)..."

A city in central China is testing out a new fire truck that uses jet engine propulsion to power its water pump. The fire department in Henan province spent more than $461,000 on the new truck. The water cannon uses the same turbo engines used in fifth-generation Chinese fighter jets. It can spray four-tons of water per minute as far as 164-feet. The water cannon is designed to spray water at speeds high enough to stop the contact between objects on fire and the surrounding oxygen.
My first thought, fires in highly congested areas where fire often spreads very quickly from one building to the next. A few Pratt & Whitney jet engines and a few tons of water and you've got a hell of a fighting machine.
