Redefining events is pure BS and they should be called on it each and everytime because the impact of the BS is so huge.

This kind of reaction should be a standard practice for everybody, any time such nonsense is uttered in the public forum. Let them assholes know that nobody will put up with their shit. Question their arguments, sanity, education and good will! This should follow with Bachman's favorite question: "Do you love this country? Are you a patriot or someone who want US harm?" We should turn tables on them!

Matthews has his moment, that's for sure. This is one of the better ones!

He has developed a particular animosity for Bachmann since the midterm elections. They have had a few exchanges. Matthews can be very catty, but as some other posters said, "He is pretty spot on in regards to his characterization of the situation". The Tea Party guy was like a deer in headlights.

Lawrence O'Donnell had a similar exchange with a representative with regards to hi-cap magazines, and the representative was good at handling the interrogation.

There is no defense for Bachmann. Whether she was trying to paint an analogy or not, she failed miserably because she is ignorant about the actual history of the United States.

The only reason these jackasses continue to spew hatred and lies is the fact that most folks are too polite to speak up. Personally, i have never suffered from that particular affliction...

Still, overall:

As long as the "like Bachmann's" make it easy for the opposition to call them out and make them "small", it will be done. The difference is Mathew's uses stupid words like balloon head and without making life threatening accusations while assholes like Beck, Palin and Limpbag can't hold opposition without threats and at the least disrespect to an entire "group" or "idea". Chris may be aggresive in his own way, but only in response to aggresive idiology made to catch the eyes and ears of the uneducated.
