Marlin tube-fed rimfire bolt guns?
1Anyone have thoughts on the Marlin XT and 983 series rimfire bolt actions? I really want another stainless rimfire...

8I don't think anyone can have too many 22s. It comes with 4 or 7 round detachable mags or a 12 shot tube. Never shot a tube fed 22lr, but I can play enabler.

9I love tube magazines. One less magazine to keep track of. Personally, I find them easier to load than detachable box magazines.
I’ve been after a marlin 60 forever, but haven’t seen one cheap for awhile. I really don’t need another .22LR either, as I rarely shoot them.

10I've got an old 781, tube fed boltie. Lots of fun.

11It isn't bolt action but it is a Marlin M1-99 Tube fed 22LR.
My Dad bought it for me in 1967. Unfortunately I can't shot it at a range because the Bolt can't be looked in the open position. Later models did have the bolt locking open.

12Your range does not allow the use of those plastic chamber flags to show the gun is unloaded and safe from a distance?

15I have had one for a good 30 years, gazillions of rounds, never a single problem of any sort. And, it shoots VERY straight.
