I have a Judge, great snake gun, it doesn't take .45acp and honestly I don't see the point in a revolver that takes an auto round … especially when you've got a great cartridge like .45 Long Colt already.

Actually Hornady makes a .410 handgun round that fires 4 rounds of ball. I've seen a video of it tested against a target made from 2x4s at 10ft. it literally splintered the 2x4s, blew 'em apart. Another video showed a water battle test of the same ammo, the penetration was equivalent to 18 inches.

Standard .410 shot is useless against pretty much anything but snakes, rabbits and birds; .410 slug is decent but these new cartridges are thoroughly lethal.

And accurate at knife range.

You can stab someone from 10ft away!?!? Impressive!

Most gun fights happen at 7ft or less.

You know I've heard a lot of people say that, but I've yet to hear someone one say that who actually fired the gun (and doesn't work for Taurus's competition), I'm gonna go ahead and assume you fall into that group as well.
I've fired the revolver from 20yds with .45LC and it was plenty accurate, so I've concluded that for people complaining about it's accuracy the issue lies with the shooter not the gun.
Guns that will fire multiple cartridges are no gimmick, there have been guns that fire multiple cartridges, particularly .410 and .45LC, for over 100 years.
You're absolutely right, it's not a good gun for conceal carry, it's big and relatively bulky. It is, however, a good gun for home defense, fun at the range and yes … snakes! I initially bought it as a snake gun as I've never gone hunting in Florida without having killed at least one water moccasin.

My advise to you would be not to say a gun sucks if you don't have any real experience with it, because for one you're passing judgment based on an opinion that's not your own and two ultimately the best gun for any individual is the one they enjoy shooting.

I still think it is the best thing for urban home defense. You won't kill your neighbors but a 410 will certainly ruin your day. 2 410 shells followed by LC or even better with this ACP makes for a nice defensive combo.

21 feet in the time it takes to draw a gun.
21ft Rule: 21ft is the distance at which a blade wielder starts to become a threat to a gun wielder. At 21ft a person wielding a blade can charge a person with a gun before the gun wielder can
• acquire them as a target
• draw their weapon
• and fire

The 21ft rule is bullshit, it assumes 4 things:
1. the person wielding the gun still has it holstered
2. the person wielding the blade already has their weapon drawn
3. the blade wielder has already acquired the gun wielder as a target
4. the gun wielder has not yet acquired the blade wielder as a target

Change any of these variables and the advantage swings sharply to the guy with a gun. Basically a person with a knife has to have a perfect set of conditions to even start to be considered a threat to a person with a gun at 21ft and even then the gun still holds the advantage.
