Just read about this and found it interesting to learn that something like this is possible. I had not heard of this company but they appear to make HK-like firearms, the sort of non-AR rifles and sub guns that I’m generally interested in. Apparently another company was in the process of trying to import a certain firearm that ATF deemed a no-go, and the company pointed out that a receiver sold by TB was very similar, which then led
ATF to have a second look. It’s caused a mess with a recall and a $200+ upgrade, with TB eating even more $ on each one. Anyhow, TB’s description is here:

2If there was an ETF, a mutual fund, an index fund that worked with lawyers' fees, I'd invest. In a case like this, innocent gun owners get screwed while lawyers make money.
Ought to be a law.

3I was thinking that depending on the specifics, the owners may have potential recourse to suing the gun company, but in this case it’s a small shop that people are loyal to, so they are actually fundraising to help him. But if this had been one of the bigger companies I’d guess that they would have to bear the weight of the costs.
