Sounded like someone who just read Atlas Shrugged.
An intellectual is someone that can change their mind after being given enough evidence.

I had some doubts but the full realization of what we were dealing with came to me in this thread:

She's just someone who likes to say a lot of things without thinking about the meaning of what she is saying. All too frequent on internet forums, I'm afraid.

Well, I hope she grows up some. Otherwise she might want to try moving places where there is little centralized government power like say, Liberia, Somalia, perhaps Yemen. I hear Lebanon's government just collapsed. She can start her libertarian paradise in one of those places.

Yeah, I think she actually came here with good intentions thinking we would have similar political positions. The one thing I don't understand is her ip being from Washington while she said she was in Nevada I believe. We have actually been hit quite a bit lately by some people from other forums talkin smack about us. So, it could be that she was indeed simply a persona.

Wow talk about weird. What could be more corporatist and centralist than China? - And sorry but rail roads are public works... they're not built by NGO's. There will never be a divorce between rail and the trains that run on them. Living in WA she should know that. Speaking of creepy in Spokane... hear about the bomb plot this past Monday?

Wasn't a bit shocked given the national climate. Spokane is Washington's Sudetenland to Nazi Idaho's Fourth Reich.

Home in Nebraska, school in Washington? Or is there another post I missed? (Or did she put something in her profile which she subsequently removed?)

Did you check whether she was connecting through TOR? I've used TOR in the past to access forums I was not familiar with.

Didn't check. Could be she was in school in Washington. Either way it doesn't really matter, she changed her email address to a fake one, which the board automatically makes you re-confirm. When it gets bounced back you get inactivated. So, I doubt she will come back and change her profile email and re-confirm. She is just gone. Considering opinions other than your own is challenging sometimes.

Yeah, that struck me as strange as well.

I found it interesting that her plans are to move to China and go work for the rail system there. Cuz China has a weak centralized government and all....
Yeah everyone knows that China's government is weak and unengaged, it's practically an anarchist's paradise.

May or may not be the same person but you can see why they are friends.

An Asian-American woman who lives in Eugene, and lists the following as interests/authors:

Scientology, "Free zone scientology", a group called "fuck the troops", Ayn Rand, "individualism", "Laissez-faire", and tons of quotes by L. Ron hisself. Not to mention pics of an Asian woman with a Kahr.

You can tell they are at least friends.

Ayn Rand under books … definitive proof of "I got mine, fuck everyone else" libertarian douchebaggery.

Reading her facebook page is scary, she is angry about everything. Are all libertarians this way.

She rails against liberals, what was she expecting joining the Liberal Gun Club.
And let me tell you somethin' bout the whole "an ant can lift a hundred times its weight" buisness, it's a myth, how much do you think an ant actually weighs--like nothin, what's nothin times a hundred....IT"S NOTHING!

Here's a sad thing (and yes I realize the irony). This post and others that our little libertarian friend contributed to are the ones with the most views and responses over the last 2 days.

Perhaps we are not as interesting as we think we are.

Yeah, its interesting - I don't think she was a troll or telling lies about anything. I think she was straight up. That facebook is someone else. Her profile on Athiest Nexus is here:

And yes, we nitpick and over analyze *everything* ....lol

Perhaps we should now leave this poor girl to her Ayn Rand and move on.

True. That is what makes us liberal though. We think. We analyze. We second guess.

Our strength and weakness all wrapped up.

I agree that we should leave it here though. Move along...nothing to see here. Please disburse.
