Yeah, I let mine run out a couple years ago after going to a local meeting and voicing my opinions and being told to either shut up and keep my leftist ideas to myself or leave … I left, never went back.

Appropriate word "gobshite", defined by the Urban Dictionary as "loud-mouthed person who talks a lot, but nothing with any value...", sounds just like the NRA. Cheers !

Ya know, I joined last year because I thought they needed more people like me (us). Plus, I got a "free" knife. Maybe I'll rethink that strategy next year. In the meantime, maybe I can mess with 'em a little bit on the surveys they send out. I can be little subversive when the right oppurtunity presents itself.

Gobsheit!

It’s an Irish term. Roughly translated gob means pile and sheit means excrement. As in you Pile of Sh*t. In common usage, it is preceded by the adjective feckin’. eg. “What are you doing with my wife, you feckin’ gobsheit?”

I got a sudden and unexpected flurry of love letters from the NRA recently. I think its from buying some things at Bass Pro and Cheaper Than Dirt. I hope Wayne's not sitting by the phone waiting. I'm a heartbreaker and dumped them in the recycle.

Let Beck pay for it...based on that September 2010 American Rifleman issue, I would just assume Beck owns the NRA; probably paid for it in gold.

In the film "Michael Collins", Liam Neason (Michael Collins) used the word often referring to fellow Irish and the British. Mick was a great man.
