Here are the cups for the first post-2020 Bullseye. No one has entered yet, so if there's no objection, I'll extend this tournament to take advantage of good weather and vaccinations.
Match extended: now ends April 30.
Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
52Argh! You can't do that! I was waiting until just before deadline to submit my - admittedly terrible - centerfire scores and snake the mugs through treachery and guile!
Instead of, you know, marksmanship.

Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
53Sorry to spoil your plans, wings! Hey, remember the rules changed to send in your best of three, so go shoot another round (or two) if you can.
And good news, heard from someone else that they will be sending in scores. So now we're up to 2.

Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
54By the way, shameless plug for the guy who engraved the mugs. He's a buddy of mine and he does laser engraving as a side business (he's also a Class 3 FFL). The mugs are kind of on the lower end of what he does. He does some nice work on guns, knives, anything metal. PM me if you want his info.
Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
55No entries yet (if you sent me one, let me know and I'll recheck my email). Vaccines and good weather are showing up so hopefully someone will send me something. These fine laser engraved tumblers are going to be very easy for someone to claim.cooper wrote: Sun Mar 14, 2021 5:39 pm 20210314_162443.jpg

Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
56I might get back out to the range next month. If not, I'll send in "scores." I'm so glad defensive shooting isn't at 50 feet. But I'm not gonna get a tumbler.
Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
57I'm glad for the extension. work/life has been busy as sh*t and wasn't able to make it to the range until yesterday. I shot poorly and used up my only three bullseye targets and then shot much better. I know what you're going to say: "pics or it didn't happen". Sorry no pics, but at least now I have a second chance to shoot decently!

Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
61I've gotten a couple of PMs from people who said they've emailed me scores, but I haven't received them. If you sent me scores via email, just PM me the scores--I don't need targets or anything. I've PM'd an administrator for assistance.
Thanks for the first two submissions! Keep them coming (PM for now).

Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
63Woo hoo! There is officially one entry so far in the rimfire category!!
Email should be working now--thanks Admins! But if I don't respond PM me to be sure.

Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
64Participation is still low. 2 lovely tumblers up to win. At this point if someone sends a target with one centerfire round on the paper they will win the centerfire tumbler.
So far Buck 13 and Merle have entries in the rimfire category, and Bihammond has indicated he has scores to submit.
Reminder, closes 04/30.

Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
65I have terrible centerfire scores I'm hoping to update soon. Somebody stop me!
Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
66I've got a stack of centerfire scores saved up. Just hoping to eke out a decent one before the deadline or I run out of 9mm. I've got a two-day shooting class starting tonight so my stash will be severely depleted. I think I'll have one more target shooting range trip and then I'll send my best string.
Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
67How many in a stack? You only get to score three rounds.bihammond wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 2:30 pm I've got a stack of centerfire scores saved up. 68What Buck13 said. Three pre-designated rounds. Pick the best of the three.Buck13 wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 10:12 pmHow many in a stack? 69Ah, I guess I didn't realize there was a limit to the number of attempted rounds. Maybe I'll just send in my next round, whatever it is.Buck13 wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 10:12 pmHow many in a stack? 70Perfect. Hope the practice was good for you and the shooting was fun. Looking forward to seeing your scores.bihammond wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 11:25 pmAh, I guess I didn't realize there was a limit to the number of attempted rounds. Re: LGC BULLSEYE CLUB MATCH #23 IS OPEN
71If you don't have time to shoot more, you could simply take the last three rounds you shot. That would be fair. Or if you have time to shoot only one more round, do that and add the last two previous sets.bihammond wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 11:25 pmAh, I guess I didn't realize there was a limit to the number of attempted rounds. In the past, we only got to score one round, so you had to say to yourself "this next round is the one that counts" before firing the first shot. That almost invariably meant that the next shot I fired was a 4 or 5. 8^(
If we're allowing multiple rounds in future matches, note that I don't see that requiring that they be sequential. If you thought you usually got your best score on, say, the third round of the day, you could shoot 60 rounds to warm up, then a set for score, and repeat that on three different days, as long as you announce (at least internally) that the next 30 shots *that day* will be one of your three scored rounds.

72bah humbug!
Took my S&W M60 357 mag to the range & shot the first set. Used a name brand cowboy ammo to get manageable recoil. About half the bullets keyholed, so needless to say it was a very poor score.
