The Liberal Gun Club Forum

I'm SO happy to have found you all! I have been a gun owner for 2 years now, and the only forums I've been involved with are very conservative. I joined up with them to learn more about SA XDm's and 1911's, but now all I read is garbage. It was starting to make me regret my decision to get involved with shooting. I look forward to picking your minds! FYI- I am from denver, and I just got my CCW and my IDPA cards, so I will probably be an active participant in this forum.

Don't worry, someone will piss you off eventually. That is the nature of the internet, right? There is no way we can all agree 100% on everything.

For some reason the West isn't well represented here, until you get to California. Most of our guys are from the Midwest. Or Texas. Still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that Texas has a crapload of gun- carrying liberals.

Finally someone else from the West. I think I'm the only one in Arizona Then again, all the sane people are giving up like a bunch of spineless twits and running away, leaving the ultra-conservative and militant inmates to run the asylum. Nice to see when things get tough how many who say they are "progressives" end up leaving a true fight behind and end up claiming "moderate".

We need more shooters in the West. Would LOVE to eventually start organizing LGC local shoots!

Well, I use a Browning Buckmark Camper to plink, and introduce friends to the sport. I carry a Sig P239 DA\SA.40. My wife shoots the Beretta 92fs Inox I got her for xmas last year, and I shoot my SA 1911 A1 loaded, and SA XDm.40 for IDPA, and range fun.

From one "other forum" dropout to another. I was called a troll and other things for standing by my beliefs and ideas for a total of about 6 months on the AK Files. Nice bunch of fellows over there, totally respectfull of ones individuality. Did I mention I like guns?

Welcome! I compete in my local IDPA chapter but I haven't gone in a while. My life got really busy but I've been wanting to go back for a while now.
