In regards to the stock footage used for that one. No offense to anyone, anything, and it's still up for debate where she stood and when with Hitler... but Leni Riefenstahl made films that were way ahead of her time.

But she was always 'Hitler's moviemaker' for the rest of her life, fairly I think. You become what you put your intellectual property to work for.

2. Yes, Leni was impressive. That entire movie is actually quite frightening.

Agreed, she put herself in her own pickle (before, during and after Hitler)...but her cinematic perspective, shots, editing, technical skill and the potential she saw in film were top notch. I liked her African photographs, colorwise I liked her underwater footage.
