Your Favorite “Coffee” Mugs

1
Show us your favorite coffee mugs. Lately, I’ve adopted a West Wing theme. This time next year, after these are broken (I always break them) I’ll have mugs with another theme. Actually, I don’t drink coffee. I switched to (black, with milk) tea years ago. I drink it British workingman’s style though: in a mug and not in a foo foo china cup with dainty periwinkles. I used to work on my classic motorcycle in the garage with a mug of hot tea at hand. That’s right, Mate!

Oh, Wow! We had one--mint green. I remember the malted milk with fondness! I was 5 in 1960..

One of my ex-secretaries gave me this mug in 1985 shortly after I gave my then employer of many years notice they could take their job and shove it!! The bastards made me use the entire 30 day quit notice. They were pissed caused I waited until my yearly bonus check cleared the bank before giving notice ($10K+). I'm actually surprised I haven't broken the damn mug in all this time.

On the left, (in use) the battered mug comes from Camp Lassen Boy Scout Camp from when our son was a teen (in his 40's now). In the middle is my dad's beer mug, which says "Same again, please." One right comes from my college days when I worked as a baker, says on the opposite: "life's too short to eat bad bread." They had good bread.

In front of the cheeky, entitled, luxurious maple lies my Frankenmosin, a 7.62x54r carbine made from parts from every arsenal that made Mosins, including China (magazine spring). Stock was burned in a fire and needed repair. Hard as a piece of unobtainium. Castrate a gnat at 100 meters with a good shooter.
