Apologies to Sam Cooke but this is now the ideology of the evangelical "Christian" right. You know, back to the Dark Ages when only priests could read and write, and they did it in Latin so nobody but other priests could understand them.

*Ok, I can give 'em a pass on slide rules, but "calculator" doesn't fit the meter! My dad, as a tool & die maker could make his slide rule sing, but the day I showed him how a $30 calculator could do the trig functions he needed faster and more accurately, 40 years ago, he never used his slide rule again!

That's a funny thing about Christian books. They're all about this guy you can't see, but he's there. So the best cat box would be a Schrodinger's Cat Box because there would be no cat. Probably.
