We have been getting a stay stream of new members recently, which is a decidedly good thing. Welcome, and we're glad to have all of you! Just cuious how you individually found our site?

Personally, I saw a bumper sticker for Democrats for Gun Ownership in traffic one day, and when I did a google search that evening, this site came up, and I've ben hee ever since.

Same thing here, doing a google search for progressive gun forum. No turning back.

...I'm using Swype. It's a motion recognition soft ware that is still resulting in quite a lot of typos.

I googled sexy slutty hoes and this came up.

People kept telling me via email that I needed to make my way here. Mostly fellow Kossacks and through the DKOS RKBA group.

As I recall, I had just read some really atrocious stuff on another gun forum. It pissed me enough that I googled something like:

liberal "gun club"

and the site came up.

Same here.

I think most people have the same thoughts and values I have. I was shocked to find out I was wrong. When couldn't take the idiocy of other gun forums I did a google search and found this place.

Don't forget to sign up on the main site as a "member" before I convince mark to start charging membership fees

Welcome, lemur. I think I found this place about the same way you did. I'd never really checked out any other gun forums, but got pissed at the latest NRA rant in the news. I thought I'd remembered that back in the late 80's or early 90's a group of gun owning congressmen had reached their fill of the NRA and were forming or joining a non-political gun org. That sparked my search. I could never find this Org. I thought I'd heard of, but my search turned up this great site.

I had reached the limit of my willingness to be tolerant and polite (sigforum) so I googled liberals and guns...not far from the top was this joint....it felt like a breath of fresh air and I haven't looked back.

Same here, did a search for liberal gun forums and then lurked for awhile. I thought this might be some "right wing conspiracy" trap.

I got so incredibly sick of PAFOA and other gun forums. Full of racists and teabaggers. Hmm, that's redundant.

Anyway, on common meme in those forums was to "insult" someone by calling them ... *gasp* ... a LIBERAL.

Well, all the most reasonable people on those forums always seemed to get hit with that label, so I decided I'd go see if there was a forum full of mostly or hopefully entirely those reasonable people who also happened to like guns. Thus I typed into google:

"liberal gun forum"

Voila, this was the first result.

Yeah, I did that. When I filled the form, I was surprised there was no fee mentioned anywhere.

I was just looking for some paula deen recipes, I have no idea how I ended up here.

I found it I by accident doing a google search for something else. When I first saw the address, I was sure it was a decoy for some right wing group.

I bought my first gun but I was still very liberal. I didn't fit in at GlockTalk. I figured I can't be alone so I googled "gun owning liberal". Found AGCR and some other websites and eventually found my way here.

I think it's funny that y'all thought this place was a right wing thing. I initially thought this was a shell for the Brady bunch, similar to Sportsmen for Obama, who backed the reinstatement of the AWB.
