Donald Trump being sent to Walter Reed Hospital for COVID-19 treatment

1
President Donald Trump is ending quarantine within the White House residency to travel to Walter Reed Medical Center after testing positive for coronavirus.

“President Trump is expected to be taken to Walter Reed Medical Center Friday afternoon according to two administration officials, less then 24-hours after testing positive for the deadly coronavirus,” The Washington Post reported Friday.

White House: “President Trump remains in good spirts, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day. Out of an abundance of caution ... the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days."

Could just be a precaution, but considering he has not been tweeting or on his phone this might be more serious. At his age the COVID -19 is much more serious and even if he recovers it has shown to have residual neurological, respiratory and cardiac damage.

Oh, I'm thinking he is showing indications that he's a LOT sicker and is....faking it being mild. Because EVERYTHING this WH releases to the public is a flat-out lie.

A Russian American friend told me they used to learn the truth in the USSR by reading Pravda upside down. Whatever the the story says, just flip it.

“The President is experiencing mild symptoms.”

I agree that he's probably sicker than the WH is revealing, they'd probably justify it under national security. And I suspect he has other underlying health issues that we don't know about, that could put him at very high risk.

He's getting an opportunity to spin and regroup after Tuesday's meltdown. He might also be seeking to resurrect those he's lost as a result of his performance as president, and on Tuesday night, by playing to their sympathy.

His camp is in crisis mode. On top of his disastrous handling of a situation where all he had to do was appear to give a shit, and a completely fumbled campaign, I don't believe that they see a way back following Tuesday.

His stroll to the helicopter wasn't that of a sick guy.

I'm not sold. I'm not buying it. As much as I wish it to be divine retribution, I don't believe in divine retribution. This is the perfect excuse to skip the rest of the campaign and not appear to be a loser doing so. I see this as a ploy. And I hope I'm wrong.

That said Mr. President, I hope you are surrounded by your family tonight. I hope each of them holds you close and kisses you goodnight. I hope they're all gathered around you in the morning when you awake, never leaving your side. I hope your good friends stop by for long visits, that even Mitch sees fit to come calling.

Hope Hicks, Campaign Manager Bill Stepien, RNC Director Ronna McDaniel, Kellyanne Conway, Sens Mike Lee & Thom Tillis, Rev. John Jenkins, all have tested so far, in addition to Malignancy and Dumper Trump. His face is that weird combo of wan and flushed, his voice is hoarse, and it sure as hell looked like he was FORCING himself to look like he was walking "normally". He looks scared and struggling NOT to look weak.

I think a LOT more are going to get sick--Jared and Ivanka, Stephen "Goebbels" Miller, Bill Barr, etc....

I agree. He obviously is unable to control himself in a debate with Biden. He's also obsessed with voter suppression. Voter fraud is just a cover for his obsession with voter suppression. He knows that's how he won in 2016. He also knows that actively attempting to suppress voting through intimidation is a federal crime. So this gives him an opportunity to sit back and let fate take its course then he can say I did my best. It's a way to save face if he loses bigly.

trump saw the debates as a way to suppress the vote and gin up his base. Too much was riding on his debate performance for this to be a sham.
I realized I needed to do some editing here. I'm not a conspiracy theory kind of guy. He might have had a positive test result. If so he's using it to take advantage of the situation so he can save face if he loses bigly.

Or, there's a pandemic and he hasn't worn a mask in 6 months.
All of that.

It's all very convenient. Perhaps too convenient. Which works to his favor. Enough so that I don't believe a thing coming out of this white house.

Just like Ken Lay, I'll believe it when I see the body. Of course should it be, the more of his friends he takes with him, the better.

I'll take hubris over conspiracy in this case. Yeah, it might give him some coverage for not debating or losing the election, but I'll bet you a good beer he's honest to goodness got the rona. And there's a not an insignificant chance that it kills him.
