accidents happen, mistakes are made

but there's an easy fix for this one.
i noticed when repriming that a couple of them went in with practically no pressure at all, and now i know why.
while reaming primer pockets, apparently i got carried away on a couple of them:

charging w/ powder and seating bullets was enough to pop the primers out.
enter the kinetic puller. i use a bit of paper towel to keep the collet bits in there.

this one happens to be an RCBS. there are many like it, but this one is mine.

there used to be an o-ring holding the collet together, but that disintegrated years ago. no matter, still works, just have to be more careful putting it together

rap it sharply on the benchtop and kinetic energy will do its thing:

et voila! c'est magnifique, no?

unscrew the cap and what do we get? bullet, powder, collet, cap. ideally all of these can be re-used. the bullet will be reused and the powder will go through the measure again, but in this instance the shell casings will be repurposed.
