I wish I could make the titles longer because a few extra words would make it more clear, now you have to go check it out for yourself:

The shooter apparently had 4 mags, 2 15's and 2 31's.

If he had used the 15s, more people probably would have been dead. The extended mag he used jammed and he couldn't clear the jam. The time he took in trying to clear the jam before finally trying to reload was the time necessary for everyone to act and take him down. Had he used the 15 round mag, it would have been a quick reload followed by more shooting.

Honestly, the extended mag saved people's lives by being a piece of crap.
