Old Skool skope

I have had this Winchester 52B since 1973, and she is part of the family. All of my kids learned to shoot with her although none still shoot.

Today, at the range gun-store, I saw a Lyman Super Targetspot on consignment, and lo and behold it fit the scope blocks as though made for them. It was. :D

Got it home and fitted it - all snug, ready for bore-sighting, then back to the range to zero it. I may go back to the aperture sights again later, but this is going to be fun to learn.

Yup. Although the recoil from a 13 lb rifle shooting 22LR is pretty minimal. But the pull-back is recommended. I'm looking into finding a spring for it, as it seems to have been ordered without one.
