I have 3 P320s (SC, C and Full). I've carry in a IWB holster and haven't had a accidental discharge, let alone from it "just hanging there holstered" I call BS.

Had 3 failures to feed with the p320 on my last range trip (out of 100 rounds). All being solved by tapping (racked as well, but it went into battery upon hitting the bottom of the mags).

However, there may be some operator error involved. I had heavily greased the gun, because I was putting it in storage for a while and didn't clean it well before shooting. I am guessing that was a big part of the problem. Either way, I want to put a few hundred more rounds through it before trusting it fully.
