White man shoots 15-year-old black boy in head while he backs away with hands up

And we wonder why the gun grabbers are so adamant.
A 54-year-old white man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly shot a 15-year-old black boy in the head.
According to charging documents obtained by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Joseph Renick fired a single shot from his revolver into the head of 15-year-old Sentonio Cox.
Cox was said to have been retreating with his hands up when he was killed.
The charging document did not explain why Renick shot Cox.
Renick was charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
Renick has a previous felony conviction for failing to pay child support. He is being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
Last month, St. Louis officials announced a $100,000 reward in connection with the shooting deaths of more than a dozen black children.

So when the NRA types say "we have enough gun laws and need to enforce the ones we have!" they aren't completely wrong...we DO need to enforce our existing gun laws, because now a 15 year old child is dead, killed by a convicted felon whose possession of a firearm was already another felony.

Bad shit happens, tragic for the young man and his family.
Renick was charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Renick has a previous felony conviction for failing to pay child support.
Hope the first degree murder charge holds up and he's convicted.

Whether is 2020 or 2024. If and when Democrats get the WH and both houses of Congress they are going Medieval on Gun Laws.
10 rounds in a semiautomatic handgun will probably be a nation wide limit. If they aren’t banned.

Indeed. And that 10 round magazine limit will be just the tip of a very ugly iceberg. I can see such a thing going hand-in-hand with “red flag” laws that will disproportionately target people of color and anyone to the left to Bernie Sanders.

You'll never hear the NRA exclaim, "The gun didn't pull the trigger. RACISM pulled the trigger."
This one really isn't a gun problem.
