The one and only time I got a call from the FBI (or maybe it was DEA--it was a long time ago) was when I witnessed a car break in at a local regional park. I was running a trail and saw someone hanging out of a car window in the parking lot. Came down to take a look (hanger outer had split) and they'd broken out the passenger window. I left a note with my phone number if I could be of any help. Unbeknownst to me, the car was an agent's and a gun and badge were stolen. For some reason, the call made me sweat.
