And the vast majority of the right will go along with it, because they're they are afraid of their own shadows.

The support those who cause the vast majority of the violence, and then act as if they're victims.

I can see similarities in their stories mentioned in the article and my own.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I had a Illinois FOID (gun ownership card) for almost a decade and didn't actual buy or or much less fire a gun until Drumpf became president and the country started losing its way. It's a time where his supporters are one giant cult and he's the ringleader who apparently can do no wrong. When the president, who is the de facto leader of a major political party, has no open critics from members of his own party holding him accountable, we are truly lost. Government in a (Fox News) bubble.

If CA had gun laws like WA we'd probably see armed left wing groups here, there are plenty of right wing groups around this state. Trump's election and right wingers rallying around him made a lot on the left uncomfortable, no more living in condition white more condition yellow is the minimum.

Had to get rid of that option when the Black Panthers got all protective of their communities. Can't have people protecting each other... That's "the man's" job. Or something.
It was because they scared the SHIT out of middle-aged White people marching into the Capitol building in Sacramento fully and obviously armed...and TOTALLY LEGALLY! They knew what they were doing and broke NO laws doing so! So Ronald Reagan couldn't have young politically motivated BLACK men armed so ostentatiously so he happily signed gun control laws.

I don't know if Reagan was personally a racist, but his policies sure were and he played the "race card" beautifully (from a tactical, rather than ethical POV).
