I find many of the candidates problematic on a number of levels, and while I may indeed "vote blue, no matter who" at the end of the day, I'm most certainly not prepared to just say any of these dipshits are worth a damn. Given my vacuum cleaner would do a better job than the current president and suck less, its not a real high bar for me, but it would be nice if they paid more than lip service to things I care about, including the 2a.
To that end, dog piles about voting blue, no matter who, or "Bernie bros cost us the election" etc, will get squashed with impunity. If you find yourself about to say angry or insulting things, stop, go to the range, have a beer, or whatever you do to relieve the stress and don't post. Demanding people to vote a certain way is not only disrespectful of their right to vote their conscience, but also likely to drive them to a punitive vote. If you want to relive 2016, the forum is archived, and you can go there and read the EXACT ARGUMENTS you are about to make with that angry post.
Dems lost middle america on a number of fronts, including guns. Some people who should have known better, including folks here, even voted for Trump, either in desperation for change or in a punitive fashion. Some of those folks may have even grown to regret that decision.
Discuss the candidates policies, discuss why YOU might vote for them, but as soon as your posts turn to invective and accusation, demanding other people just accept your argument, that's when we are going to squash it.
If you want someone to accept your candidate, make a better argument.
Also, this is not an invitation to belittle the "Blue no Matter Who" folks, either.
Be nice to each other, don't piss on my rug. And if you want an echo chamber, find another forum.

5Oh, I'll start yanking peoples political forum access if it doesn't. 2016 sucked and not just because we got Trump for president. I'm not going to watch you people eat each other alive. There are plenty of places to do that. This isn't one of them.HuckleberryFun wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2019 11:59 am If this holds I may actually return to the Forum. :-)

7Timely message. I’m about to tune all this election ruckus out for a year. I’m starting to sound like a broken record and it’s starting to annoy me.

19Some people even owned up to voting for trump. Lots of blame by people (many of which have left) for splitting votes and not towing the company line.
Shit show.
