Kind of depends on how much freedom you want. If you move out to almost the middle of nowhere and build up and make it to township you might get incorporated by a county (so I am told) But I would imagine CA and NY are def not in the running. As the firearms laws are too restrictive for most of us.

Every once in a while a derelict little town out here comes up fer sale.

Buy one already on the map and set up your own liberal gun-friendly gov't.

Come to Kentucky! Fourth most relaxed gun laws in the USA. Land is reasonable and there is plenty of water.

I'm retired so I can move anywhere. I'm partial to Marlene's recommendation of Nevada, only because it wouldn't be a huge climate shift for me and there is plenty of land there. We could each have 10 acres and our own shooting range. Morale officer is perfect for our resident Klown. No political office for me, just eat, sleep, shoot and have an adult beverage with friends.

How about a City Manager? They could be in charge of working with suppliers of things a municipality needs, and as liason with the Chief of Police.

And in charge of voter precincts. And dealing with rightwingers that move in. Maybe run a not-for-profit gun shop subsidized by city monies. Wow...what a concept!

Yes, but the moist climate will prevent conflagrations when we set off Tannerite! And gun oil is cheap!

Hope, AZ @ the intersection of Hwy 60 & 72 was for sale a few years ago. Now it features a fancy RV park.

Hmmm... Librul RV Park. Big berm running along the North side. No shooting between 9:pm-7:am (certain holidays exempt). No generators after midnight.

Except for the Librul part, this sounds a lot like Quartzite.
