A gun is a good thing to have and not need.
Many wishy washy Dems think magic will happen if you outlaw guns and so on. We know that is pish posh. We know the best way to address the darker side of human nature is to develop a supportive and varied social and economic infrastructure.
It is unfortunate that many MAGA types use violent rhetoric and do violent things. It is true. It is a thing. Arming oneself against that type of reality is appropriate. No blame. Ensure always that one can operate one's guns safely and effectively. Always store them appropriately.
