Right Wingers: I'm mad at Captain Marvel because she's a woman

Left Wingers: I'm mad at Captain Marvel because of the US military propaganda

Centrists: I see no difference between these positions.

Had to share this, back I go to “prefer not to play”

Interesting read-
Files we obtained, mainly through the US Freedom of Information Act, show that between 1911 and 2017, more than 800 feature films received support from the US Government’s Department of Defence (DoD), a significantly higher figure than previous estimates indicate. These included blockbuster franchises such as Transformers, Iron Man, and The Terminator.

I have read that the second movie in the franchise breaks with the propaganda a bit. Still, I'd bet that Air Force recruiting of women goes through the roof for the next year.

I’m surprised you lasted this long Marlene.
I almost went back to “prefer not to play” when some on here welcomed our South Africa visitor even after he made wrong/offensive comments about the Boers being friends to the blacks of South Africa. We must dialog with everyone, it seems. I was even criticized for a very mild “I will withhold the usual welcome” comment on his Intro thread after he said this.
Some of the people in this forum are just....arrrgh! Sometimes we seem to be the ironically “Liberal” Gun Club.
I spend most of my time on Facebook now —and I hate FB— but I’m an Admin there and South African racists and incel Marvel haters and their ilk get the boot in my bailiwick. They get to hang out here instead.

Captain Marvel is a woman? Well there's leap forward for Women then. :sarcasm:

I find movies of the last 15 years that are based on Comic Books boring. Is this the best Hollywood can come up with?

Military careers are often the best job available for many young people. I wish the Peace Corps had the same benefits for teens.
