Having said that, I'd rather drive in Mexico City, Philippines or about any 3rd world nation, than Austin, TX. :sarcasm:
That’s way we ale the toll road 130 when we go see my Sister-in-Law in Bastrop. That is the one where the name of the road is the effective speed.

I just finished a typical hair-raising ride to Newark Liberty Airport to pick up my wife and younger son. For a road called a "parkway", the Garden State Parkway, especially where we are, is NOT a fun road to drive!
Further south, heading out the Jersey Shore, and the northernmost bit were it goes into NY, it's nicer, but in between? It's ugly and dangerous and people drive like they really don't care if they die in flames. Except for the terrified slow-pokes who can't figure out where they are going, who REALLY make it dangerous, but I don't blame them. New Jersey's long had one of the worst highway design, planning and maintenance reputations. "The Jug-Handle State" has had a knack for posting the exit sign AFTER the exit! No, Really!

:roflmao:
LA drivers move right out of the way with the slightest pressure.
