6Off comes the six inch barrel and out pops the cylinder, wow. Looks like a GP 100, but could be my eyes. Wonder if it's repairable.

8We can fix that...
Squib bullet blocking the barrel is my guess. Actually one of my fears in reloading. I pay extra attention to unusual sounding rounds.

We tried to capture the side shot of the barrel and read any markings - no dice. Even enhanced, there is just nothing there to see.

10It looks to me like the problem was between the cylinder and the barrel because that's where the explosion was, otherwise the barrel might have split.
It also doesn't quite look like current Rugers. Rear sight's not quite right. Not a Kimber or Taurus, AFAIK.

14Bullet stuck right in the forcing cone. I've had that happen once. But I recognized a problem before touching another one off.
