Since my iPad mini died, I'm looking at alternatives for iMessaging...
My wife was on a plane a couple of months ago that had trouble with its landing gear and the only way she could communicate was using the plane's WiFi and her iMessages to my son's iPhone (didn't realize my iPad had it too). Scary shit! Since my iPad is since dead and gone and I'm delaying dropping another $600 on another, I'm wondering if iPadian actually works. Reviews are so all over the place it's hard to determine.
Not an Apple fan but I'm the only one with an Android in the family. Still, since she travels all the time.............

Tried eBay and the iPad was "lost" by the USPS in Atlanta, the seller was mostly unresponsive, and I finally got refunded over the weekend from mid-December. Most of the other sellers have dreadful records.

Have you check with Apple for a reconditioned iPad? Also there is Costco and Amazon. iPadian is a simulator not an emulator. You can’t run the iOS apps. It’s all look and no action. Lot like Donald Trump

Thanks, TT. I've looked at Costco and Amazon, but not Apple (yet)--hadn't thought about Apple. I may just go with a new Mini 4 from T-Mo, because they have a far better cellular plan than AT&T or Verizon.
