For some reason these people like Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Tom Perez think that they can win over republican voters by reasoning with them. Excuse me but politics is a blood sport. You aren't going to reason with someone when the only thing they are after is blood lust.
Since when is Debbie Wasserman reasonable?
We got a good taste of how she and other Dem Corporatists roll during the last Presidential Election, they'll help loose us another (critical) election.
Funny how they play dirty to get rid of Bernie yet want to "reason" with Republican voters.
If you start by assuming blatantly false assumptions are facts, it will lead you to irrational conclusions and positions.
They ASSUME there is this large, rational pool of centrist Republican voters who JUST have to be convinced Dems are better for them. This bolus of voters simply does not exist, but there IS a bolus of Progressive, Independent-Progressive-leaning, and even Progressive Democratic voters who have so consistently been disgusted with the Wasserman Schultz / Clinton/ Pelosi /Perez "leadership" that they've stayed home and why the Dems have lost the House in '94, '96, '98, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016. That's 10 of the last 12 mid-terms.
Yet the "leaders" clearly have learned NOTHING! It's the multiple grass roots movements, HORRIFIED that the Clintons and the DNC blew an easy slam-dunk against the WORST candidate the GOP could have fielded. The "leaders" didn't generate this energy--the base rank&file that made this Blue Wave possible. And if it fails, the blame will TOTALLY fall on those "Leaders" who've been
a) a day late and a dollar short on numerous special election campaigns
b) forcing out candidates who MAY have the best shot of winning if they didn't fit the DCCC's profile
c) wishy-washy and blathering rather than seeing the POWER of Gillum, Abrams, and O'Rourke taking and hold strong, well-defined positions that aren't "Republican-lite"
d) Wrong, wrong, and wrong for 10 of the last 12 House elections (and the 11th, 2008, was REALLY on Obama's coattails).
