WASHINGTON (AP) — In a comment that could give Saudi officials a route to climb down from outright denials, President Donald Trump suggested Monday that "rogue killers" could be responsible for the disappearance and presumed murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who hasn't been seen since entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul two weeks ago.

And if true, would mean the Saudis let a band of armed killers into their embassy, then watched them either kidnap and hide or kill and disassemble a journalist.

Or he's convinced all his followers are total morons and will believe ANY dog-shit he feeds them is sirloin.

Which is probably true, too.

CNN reports that the Saudi government is preparing to say Jamal Khashoggi died during an interrogation that went wrong. The report was attributed to two unnamed sources. It says one of the sources told them that the intention was to abduct Khashoggi and it had not been authorized by the Saudi government.

He's criminally stupid. Because he's CONVINCING himself that MBS's blatant and ridiculous lies are truth. And why? Because the "Transactional President" thinks $110 billion in arms sales (that may not take place which is, if you think about it, about 10% of the value/cost of the tax cut) is SO important he's willing to be totally owned and made the Saudis' (you know) just like he is for Putin.
