Don't leave it lying around loaded where a kid can get at it, and there's no need to worry about this any more than any other gun.

I wondered if it was intended to be camo so you could just leave it lying around. Those meddling kids!

A suitably painted Buckmark would look more like the Zapper.

Boy this guy would probably have his gonads explode if he discovered the amount of custom cerakoting some gun owners go through to dress up their guns. There are plenty of guns out there that actually do employ yellow, orange, or other bright colors we relegate to nerf guns or water pistols.

In terms of the panic meter though, I think the author is making a mountain out of a mole hill. Maybe no hill. These are custom guns that individual owners ask smithing companies to create for them. Tacky? It could be (but I do love my share of tackiness =) ). But this whole "think of the children!" concern trolling seems a bit far fetched. Same with worry that police have to discern real guns from custom Nintendo zappers. Hint: the day criminals start getting creative enough to shell out an extra $500-$1000 (and a few weeks time) to customize their Jimenez's to look like water pistols is the day I start having the same concern about dressing guns up as toys.

My only problem with how the guns looks is that they used Glocks instead of the obvious choice of a Ruger MK III or a S&W Victory.

Exactly! He fails at basic composition and lack of vision.
