Hot tip number 9 "Never buy fresh fish from the trunk of a car with Oklahoma plates."JColville wrote:It's a seafood restaurant...in Utah. Hardly the best place to get fresh Halibut.
I'd prefer that re-worded to "It's either the safest restaurant in town or the most dangerous. It all depends on how you view people who profess to support the Second Amendment by openly carrying"Chicago Tribune wrote: It's either the safest restaurant in town or the most dangerous. Beretta 84. Even blued with wood grips it's pretty.Stiff wrote:Note to self: need to find a stainless / nickel pistol in case of dressy open carry. If I'm wearing a kilt I'm not gonna strap on a Glock.
Or a mirror-polished stainless CZ 75 B. I just handled one at my LGS. It was so shiny I had a hard time letting go...SailDesign wrote:Beretta 84. With a kilt a Pink Glock would just be the best accessory.Stiff wrote:Note to self: need to find a stainless / nickel pistol in case of dressy open carry. If I'm wearing a kilt I'm not gonna strap on a Glock.

Never mind, image is too large.
It's a kilt, not a skirt. Herr Glock is not going to approve. Nein!TrueTexan wrote:With a kilt a Pink Glock would just be the best accessory.Stiff wrote:Note to self: need to find a stainless / nickel pistol in case of dressy open carry. If I'm wearing a kilt I'm not gonna strap on a Glock.
If your wearing a Kilt you need a Claymore. If you want more modern than it needs a Welbey Revolver. The best defensive weapon when wearing a kilt is a set of war bagpipes. Blowing the pipes will scare all but horny tomcats away.Stiff wrote:It's a kilt, not a skirt. Herr Glock is not going to approve. Fixed it for ya. A "Claymore" is a landmine of some sort, I believe.TrueTexan wrote:If you're wearing a Kilt you need a Claidhmhor . If you want more modern than it needs a Welbey Revolver. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ClaymoreThe claymore sword is one of the most recognized swords in history. Claymore is a term derived from the Gaelic claidheamohmor, meaning "great sword." Claymore was first used to describe the large cross-hilted broadsword used in the Scottish Highlands and by Scottish mercenaries in Ireland from the late 15th to early 17 century. Several Scottish literary references indicate that the term "claymore" was applied by Gaelic speakers in the Highlands to both the old-fashioned, two-handed sword and the characteristic Scottish basket-hilted sword of the early 18th century. The average claymore sword length is about 55inches. Being since the sword was so huge, the swordsman need no shield which gave the impression and symbol of pride and strength. The claymore was a favorite weapon of the Highlanders of Scotland because it gave a fearsome presence on the battlefield.
