So sad they felt the need to show it. It's not going to make the conspiracy nuts go away and only harms the family.

Article says the photos were released due to public records requests, so I guess there are people who think they need to see them.

It's weird that it still exists as, from what I recall over the years, Courtney Love has always said the gun was destroyed.
In fact I watched "Soaked In Bleach" just recently and I think they noted it was destroyed.
Not to spin this into a conspiracy theory, but I do think a lot of what Love says needs to be taken with a grain of salt. She unfortunately is the mouth piece for the Cobain estate so virtually all information since his death is her version of events, much like Heavier Than Heaven and Montage of Heck.
