MILLBURY - Two police officers under investigation had entered the Police Department's locked armory without permission after the "Goods for Guns" gun buyback day Dec. 12 and had taken a small-caliber semi-automatic pistol to try out, according to the "Millbury Firearm Investigation" report completed by the state police detective unit assigned to the Worcester district attorney's office.

The Telegram & Gazette obtained the report, dated Feb. 15, through a public records request.

Officers Anthony J. Belliveau and Robert J. Guyan Jr. have been on paid administrative leave since late December while the state police detective's investigation and an internal investigation were going on.

Hmmm... suspicious. We all know about 'drop' guns, sometimes used to plant on suspects.
