My Christmas tradition

My holiday tradition includes watching Die Hard and Die Hard 2 and listening to Yes Virgina, There is an Anti-Claus. The later was a short story composed by me and local radio personality, Clyde Lewis, at my kitchen table while quaffing hot buttered rums back in 2001 as our reaction to the events of the previous September and the numerous conspiracies which swirled like snow in a wind swept blizzard. Several years later Clyde Lewis and Aaron Duran created a 45 minute audio presentation for his show News at Ground Zero.

For your enjoyment I include the links to both the article and the radio play.

Yes Virgina, there is an Anti-Clause Audio

The original article without the buttered rum stains and cigarette burns.

Happy Holidays,
Jim

I picked up some shifts from my co-workers, so I'll be in the coal mine (figuratively) all through Christmas. But if I get the chance, my tradition is to watch Jeremiah Johnson with Robert Redford. And I've spent some coin on Baileys Irish Cream, which is my other tradition.

It's just not Christmas unless you have some Die Hard (well, only 1&2 since they're Christmas movies) =)

Tonight is winter solstice night. Campfire in the back yard, looking at the stars, celebrating the advent of longer days and shorter nights....along with a good single-malt Scotch and Dominican cigar.

Right on!

Yesterday I had Die Hard on as I made brownies for various holiday parties.

It's the only way to do it, really.
