Posers will be posing at another Dallas-area mosque this weekend. Every time I see one of these meet & greets I wonder which one will turn out like a Twin Peaks biker afternoon.

Looks like we are safe from those bad, bad Muslims. I still don't know why these yahoos aren't being charged with brandishing to incite fear. Maybe ignorance is a defense. I just don't know.

Is this group part of the III% anti Islam groups.
DALLAS (AP) — They are known as "Three Percenters," followers of a movement that has rallied against gun control efforts nationwide, patrolled the U.S. border with Mexico and recently begun confronting Muslim Americans.
Followers describe themselves as armed "patriots." But some of their leaders have been blamed for threats and vandalism against lawmakers, police and Muslims. One prominent member from Phoenix prompted an FBI alert in November after posting an expletive-filled Facebook video saying he was headed to upstate New York with guns to challenge a Muslim group. A Three Percenter in suburban Dallas led a mosque protest by armed, masked men that same month.

What happens to violation of the Muslims civil rights? I wonder if these yahoos are on the no fly list?

Today the mosque, tomorrow the temple? These folks aren't helping the cause of reasonable firearm ownership.

Dallas UU church is part of the Interfaith group that was noticeably missing from yesterday's circus. Today the UU minister said the mosque thanked all those concerned but didn't want to play into the noise for fear of violence. They asked outside groups not to show up for counter protests.

Fair enough but I don't know if that really meets the needs of our local jug heads who need conflict to feel complete.
That makes me so sad to hear..jpg

I don't know if there has been a discussion on that possibility within the Interfaith coalition.

I've not read or heard of how First Baptist of Dallas stands on this issue. Simmer, I looked and have not found if they are part of the interfaith group? The website does not show the members of the coalition. I'm just interested.

"Islam is inspired by Satan"

This is likely why they are not listed with the Interfaith group.
