Jeffrey Wells, a Hollywood guy with a typical California view of gun ownership, got into an argument with Kurt Russell over "gun culture" and forcing restrictions on people.

He's been a known libertarian for years. Doesn't appear to have impacted his ability to get work in Hollywood.

I heard really bad news that they were going to remake BTiLC. And that The Rock would play Jack Burton.
Whoever did that didn't realize one of the charms of Big Trouble is that Jack Burton is NOT the hero; he's the sidekick who THINKS he's the hero.
