Good for a laugh...

Them Liberal News Medias always twisting our words around, right? Well these days the reporting on issues related to the shooting in CA seem to be going bonkers with ignorance or just plain fiction.

While I don't find much in common with members on other gun boards, once in a while come accross some real jems worth sharing with friends. An example is by an old guy, 45 For Me, who posted the following on NW Firearms (I'm still laughing):
With the way the news twists firearm related information. Imagine if they were to print the bio of someone on Northwest firearms:

Hi. I own a home in Portland, Oregon. I am a Blazer fan, and collect interesting firearms (stored responsibly). I am a recreational shooter, and enjoy posting with fellow enthusiasts. I am pro-civil rights, and a law abiding citizen. To save money, as well as for fun, I load my own ammunition.

As reported in the Oregonian:

Hi. I am entrenched in a bunker in the heart of our community. I have extremest views, have a massive stock pile of assault AR-15 type, semi-automatic weapons (in a hidden cache). I train regularly in para-military tactics, and am in a communication network with other extremists. I am anti-government and operate under the radar of the authorities. I have an ammunition factory, capable of supplying an unlimited amount of future terrorist plots.

Honestly, I'm glad I didn't bring up the suppressors that I legally own. Imagine what the news would make of that...

Yep. I think we need to use humor more often in taking the pro-gun rights positions.

Yup! And not lose the ability to laugh at ourselves. Very important, that - those who cannot laugh at themselves become pompous and turbn into Trump or Carson, or HillClin. :)
