Hello and welcome! We are, of course, an attempt at a beacon of sanity and a refuge from hate. Well, we try, anyway.

You may wonder just what exactly the LGC stands for, in terms of public policy. Well, first, we're a 501(c)(4) with a mission of education and of promoting the shooting sports. So you won't find us running around lobbying, because, well, 501(c)(4).

Second, well, we're (mostly) liberals. Meaning, herd of cats. So you won't find a unified viewpoint on, say, banning stuff, or universal background checks, or even the merits of Tupperware pistols, for that matter. Read this stickied thread, then go read this blog post by our excellent jefe, Inquisitor.

Hopefully that helps. Or at least helps explain why we're all over the place.
