So, my wife has been talking about getting a concealed carry revolver for a while, but not seriously. Today she asked if we had time to go by the LGS and look at and maybe try a couple out. Of course! She tried the S&W 442 and the Ruger LCR in 38 special. She left with a Ruger! I didn't shoot a single shot and had a great time getting her an early Xmas present.

Snubs aren't a common first step. Has she shot those before?

She has shot a lot of things before, it was just the first time she decided to pick something by herself. She also shot a whole box of 38 special trying to choose!

I find the LCR is fine shooting 38 spc. Shooting +p ammo is a little exciting though.

I wanted something for pocket carry and bought a sticky holster. It's not really the right shape for pocket carry, but for IWB it carries very well!
