Jessica Jones

So, Marvels Jessica Jones premiered on Netflix on the 20th and I've finally managed to watch the first episode. So far so good I must say, never read the comics but I've always heard good things. Plus David Tennant and Carrie Moss. Anybody else watching this? (Not for small childrens, more so than Daredevil).

Luke Cage! Holy shit I can't wait to see the bromance between him and Iron Fist in the Luke Cage/Defender series coming soon.

All this and punisher in the second season of daredevil?

Not yet. Been watching The Man the High Castle on Amazon Prime. It is dreary entertainment and not as outlandish as Philip K. Dick's book.

Well dang...I had no idea. And I have no idea who Jessica Jones is, but I'm a fan of everything Marvel (at 50 years old, I'm waiting for my 15th birthday to come around anytime now :roflmao: )

Since Gravy gave me an opening I will say that Daredevil has me very enthused. It's nice to finally have a superhero that gets his ass kicked every once in a while.

Haven't started season two of Daredevil yet, but really enjoyed the first season. Jessica Jones of course popped up on my Netflix radar, so it will be watched when I have some time :D

Dispo- I just started The Man in the High Castle as well. Watched the first couple of episodes. It's ok, but not totally engrossing, I did not read the PKD novel, although I've read some of his stuff, his style of writing is not my favorite.

I usually love Marvel shows, movies, books, comics, etc.. I was not impressed with Jessica Jones however. But that's just me.. I do however like the man in the high castle. Even though I read it 20 years ago and only recall bits and pieces, the show seems pretty well done. Philip K Dick was an amazing writer..

Ok, after reading here, and then my eldest daughter telling me its pretty good, I went back and watched another episode. I was basing my opinion from the first episode, which I did not find that good, but the second one picked up, and I am now into the 3rd and while liking it better, its still not what I call fantastic, but good.

Longmire is pretty good. But its just another cop show, which we have way to many of to begin with. Hemlock Grove was kind of disappointing this season, and waiting a year for Orange is the Black or the other shows just makes you lose interest. Especially when you binge and your year wait is satisfied momentarily in week or less. Streaming has changed the way people watch tv, I wish it would change the series seasonal format to a more streaming friendly way. Maybe 2 months on, 2 months off or something to not cause such a long wait. Just my 2 worthless cents.. :D

Watched a few episodes. So far I like it a lot. Last one I watched was the one, (spoiler alert) with the dude and the circular saw. So maybe three ?

My problem with all shows is... after 'Breaking Bad', everything else seems to fall flat eventually. :|
