Funny. That made me like Rousey more -- maybe because I enjoyed Roseanne's 2011-'12 position on Wall Street moguls.

Barr: "I do say that I am in favor of the return of the guillotine and that is for the worst of the worst of the guilty.

"I first would allow the guilty bankers to pay, you know, the ability to pay back anything over $100 million [of] personal wealth because I believe in a maximum wage of $100 million. And if they are unable to live on that amount then they should, you know, go to the reeducation camps and if that doesn't help, then being beheaded." (Real Clear Politics)

my daughters love Rhonda Rousey. She once visited their Muay Thai boxing classes at the MMA training facility where they train. to bad they are only 13 and 15 and too young to vote for Bernie. I think they would...

My first thought on this was "bodyguard", and that got me to thinking.

Does anybody know if Sanders has been given Secret Service protection, as I believe Trump and Carson were?

(Hillary already has it, I think, by virtue of being a former First Lady and/or Sec of State.)

All I know about Rousey is seeing her look tough in a couple of TV ads. I'll have to start paying more attention.

Well if Ronda is voting for Bernie, then I'm in.

I'm a Ronda fan, but I really don't care one iota about celebrity endorsements. They seem important to some people, but I choose to make up my own mind, and I'm more than a little offended when someone tries to tell me how I should vote.

I'm sixty three, but I think the difference you note is one of personal preference, not the year.

Or maybe it is the year...

I'm a Rousey fan, too. I'll still be voting for the Libertarian Party candidate next Fall, though.

I dig Rousey too. I think it's cool that she supports Sanders. Thanks for the post Paco
Of course it isn't going to influence my vote (Do people really care about celebrity endorsements?), but since I'm already going to vote for him, it doesn't much matter.

If it wasn't for you people I wouldn't have any idea of who Rhonda Rousey is. I disdain all professional sports so that's not surprising. Doesn't change my mind in any event; I been feeling the Bern since the start.

Probably will.

Rousey is great, except for the whole domestic violence incident.

I'm not.

Tate, Carmouche, and everybody else who's fought her has tried to wrestle with her, which is jumping into the ocean with the shark. Holm had the perfect plan for Rousey and executed it well. She controlled the range and stayed off the ground, for the most part.

I don't care who you are. When the button gets pushed, the lights go out.

The question now is whether Ronda will get some better coaching and learn how to kickbox, because every woman in MMA will be studying this fight.

I think they are both amazing fighters and being as either one of them could pound me into a pile of mush in seconds, I really cant criticize them. But I can be amazing in both their skills and records, and congratulate them both on great careers.

It didn't sound like domestic violence to me. It sounds like he kidnapped/illegally restrained her. Had she not been a human weapon she probably would have been justified using a firearm. Sounds like he's lucky he just got an ass whupin'.
