Need a paying member, on the east coast, preferably in the NE, who is not white, not male, not middle aged or any combination

A reporter I am working with wants something other than a middle aged white guy to talk to, so, if you fit the above, and don't mind being outed as a gun owner, send me a PM ASAP

Groups naturally self segregate. This has always been a problem. AA, Latin, Asian, Caucasian all form their own. And then, women break those down even further. It's very hard to have a truly representative group. Sure a few join the others, but not in representative numbers.

Almost guaranteed this group does not reflect diversity. Outreach takes dedicated effort, and time. This is why Bernie's crowds are what they are. It takes time, and effort. It took the NRA some doing to get a Colion Noir. And they've financed that to the hilt.

So, even if the journalist were to get they're interview, what would it truly represent, possibly a false narrative that the interviewer wants to establish. Could go any which way. Just as Mr Noir does not really represent the NRA, neither would any other than middle aged white guy really represent this group.

Everyone sitting around on a forum waiting for people to sign up over the internet will have a long wait for a diverse membership. Dedicated effort and time, yessiree. Dedicated effort, and time.

PS: Good luck. If you get the interview together, it might help with the outreach.

We are a national organization...we should get to break-out of the region for the interview. We just don't have huge numbers in the NE to begin with.

Not sure any members of the gun club I joined has less than two of those traits...

Sadly, I looked at the MIT Pistol and Rifle club but they require NRA membership. They have a solid skill reputation and I would guess they have a diverse group of people. Perhaps I should scope them out anyway.

I'm female and in Vermont -- but I'm middle aged (and overweight) -- and probably white, though I'm Irish, and we didn't used to be white but apparently now we are.

We shouldnt do this anyway. We dont need to classify by race. It would not and should not matter , especially for a gun club.

This is a picture of me and my closest friends from the U of Wtsc when we had a reunion in NYC last month. We are all in our mid to late 70's. We met in 1958 and have been friends ever since. What bothers us is that there are real signs of racism at the UW now that didn't exist almost 60 years ago.

Yes we were on the High Line. Ron Brawer, who looks like Howard Stern, is an actor and has worked as a stand in for Stern and Sacha Baron Cohen. He was at a party 2 years ago and Mary-Louise Parker came over to him a gave him a kiss saying "I haven't seen you in years Howard". I can't believe he immediately told her the truth.
